- 'Rebecca May is a tasty cuvée of mostly Cinsaut from Slanghoek with 38% Shiraz from cooler Elgin, showing attractive whole bunch spice, sweet flavours of plum, bramble and blackberry, supple tannins and the faintest whisper of oak. 2018-23'. – Tim Atkin, Special South Africa Report 2017, 92/100
- 'The 2016 Rebacca May is a blend of 62% Cinsault and 38% Syrah that is matured in used 500 and 225-liter oak barrels. All the Cinsault was whole bunch and approximately half the Syrah. It has a tightly wound bouquet at first that demanded coaxing from the glass: boysenberry, raspberry and touches of pressed violets. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, a gentle grip in the mouth with such balance that you almost forget the structure and the freshness. The use of whole bunch works really well here and feels very persistent on the aftertaste. This is excellent. Drink 2018-2028.' – Neal Martin, 91/100
